Schindellegi – Dividat Senso has been installed in three more rehabilitation and care facilities in the U.S. The training device developed by Dividat, a medtech company based in the Swiss canton of Schwyz, specifically promotes physical-cognitive interplay. It can be used to support individuals with neurological indications, who have had operations or who are living with dementia.
Dividat has announced that three additional north American institutions have installed its cognitive-motor training device, the Dividat Senso. “We’re honored to partner with these visionary organizations in their mission to elevate health, wellness, and quality of life,” says the spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich in a statement.
Atlantis Physical and Occupational Therapy has included a photo of the Senso on an invitation to the opening of its new location in Torrance, California, on October 22. According to an additional social media post, visitors will be able to try out new, state-of-the-art brain health equipment. Atlantis offers individual rehabilitation programs in South Bay, Los Angeles, which combine physical and cognitive training.
Fieldstone of Olympia, based in Washington State in the U.S., is also installing the training device in its facilities. The luxury retirement home aims to create a “vibrant, supportive community for residents, and with the installation of Dividat Senso, they are enhancing the quality of life for everyone in their care”, says the statement. The home is part of Cascadia Senior Living and Development, which specializes in creating and running innovative communities for independent living, assisted living and memory care throughout the northwestern U.S.
Finally, Humanaut Health in Austin, Texas, is also a new Dividat customer. Humanaut supports patients with a holistic healthcare model that is focused on longevity. ce/mm
