Schindellegi/Oberwil – The Physio Herzog treatment center is using Dividat Senso. The training platform produced by Dividat, a company based in Schindellegi in the Swiss canton of Schwyz, helps improve physical and cognitive abilities.
The Herzog physiotherapy center in Oberwil, in the Swiss canton of Basel-Landschaft, has added the Dividat Senso platform to its range of modern equipment. The platform gives Physio Herzog access to an innovative training and treatment system, according to a post on LinkedIn.
The Senso training platform enables users to complete a series of movements shown on the screen with their feet. A plate measures steps, weight shifts and balance control. The play-based cognitive-motor exercises help prevent an increase in the risk of falls as mobility declines. They can also strengthen attention, concentration, memory and orientation in dementia patients. Senso is primarily used in retirement homes and hospitals.
Dividat was set up in 2013 as a spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH). The company operates both in Switzerland and abroad. ce/ww
